I love feedback

Lucys squeal made the three agents jump.  Whats wrong? Jack asked, concerned for his friend.

Nothings wrong, Lucy said, her usual smile firmly in place.  She looked at Tara.  Sues coming tonight, and shes bringing a friend, she said happily.  The apartment had been too quiet without Sue and Levi around.

Whats going on now? Bobby asked.

Tara smiled softly at the Aussie.  Girls night out.  Well, girls, Levi, and Sues mystery date, she said in an I know something you dont know tone, hoping to get a rise out of Jack.  She had received the same message from Sue, only her reaction had been much less vocal than Lucys.

Jack got up from his desk and went over to Taras workstation, absentmindedly straightening the stacks of files that sat between her keyboard and a picture of the team at Rock Creek Park where they had had a picnic for Lucys birthday a few months earlier.  How is Sue? Jack asked, trying too hard to sound casual.

Shes fine, Tara said as she closed the e-mail before Jack could get a look at it.  Not really loving the bomb shelter but apparently Myles has been a big help.  To be honest I cant stand that place, either, though.  Something about it is just way too creepy for me to deal with, she continued, working her way up to a full-fledged ramble.  And the fact that Myles is playing her knight in shining Armani is equally creepy, though probably less oppressively so.

I dont know about that one, Shelia, Bobby said as he tapped at the keyboard in front of him.  Im pretty sure Harvard acting like a human is one of the signs of the apocalypse.

Tara rolled her eyes and reached over, swatting Jacks hands away from her files.  The whole obsessive compulsive paper straightening thing you have is cute, Jack, but if you touch my files one more time Im going to be forced to use you for target practice, Tara said sweetly.  Jack pulled away from the temptingly messy-looking files and stuck his hands in his pockets to keep them out of trouble.

Bobby shot Jack a thats you told look as he got up and stretched noisily, groaning as muscles moved and joints popped.  It had been a long morning, and he was sure it was going to be an even longer afternoon, if that was at all possible.  They were still waiting to hear back from some of their contacts of less than reputable standards but so far they hadnt heard any whispers of something being in the works.  They had gotten a tip about a cat burglar working former warehouses that had been turned into apartment buildings just north of Union Station, but it wasnt something the FBI dealt with so they passed that information along to the DCPD.
