Someone called us about a budgie they'd found dead in a gutter in a nearby suburb, so tonight, I went and took a look. I'd prepared myself for the worst, but it wasn't our budgie. It did have quite similar features, though. It was so sad to see him and pick him up (I had gloves on, but still). He was so light, as if he was just feathers and a skeleton . This is the second time I've seen a deceased budgie that had similar features to ours...

It's getting harder to stay positive about our budgie, but I still hope he's okay out there, and enjoying himself - wherever he is.
