Hello all! My name is Velvet. I am a happily married Mom of 4 wonderful children Taci, Tyler, Torrin and miracle Tristen....................PLUS a Step-Mom to an awesome daughter Catherine. This gives me and my hubby Keith 5 kids 2 oldest being girls and 3 youngest are boys. And my Mom Rhoda moved in December 2003!
I "opened" my child care home in February 2000. I then closed due to pregnancy ( our youngest "miracle" son). February 2001. I decided to go into childcare for many reasons. From experience to time to being "there" for my own babies. Well what started as a "part-time"adventure turned into a "full-time" career choice. I had researched for hours on end and decided that I might as well jump in head first :o). I had had tons of experience with my own children plus hours and hours of "watching" family members and friends of family. We moved into that home in November of 1999. In that "new" home we also had much much more room, that also influenced my decision to go into childcare. I had all this extra room and time---I really had to do something with it! After talking to Keith. He said "Go for it!". He is wonderful with children and very supportive of me.
As of September 26, 2002 We moved to another state in January, February, and March with my family and chose not to reopen my daycare. I decided to start revamping this site. I think that this site was a great aide to providers, parents and children with all aspects of thier lives. So instead of a "daycare" website this will be a Family Fun Site. Hope you will enjoy.
