| GODS GIFT "Why are you crying, my child" I heard a voice ask "I've lost my darling child And these tears I cannot mask" "Please share your story" The voice replied to me "I am here to listen I am whatever you need me to be" I began to tell the story Of my daughters short life And all that she has given To her brothers, me and my wife She has saved our marriage And has renewed our love She has promised to watch over Her two brothers from above There's so much she'll never get to do There's so many things she'll miss Too swiftly taken from us To join the heavenly bliss We are always going to miss her That's why I'm crying like so We just don't understand Why God made her go As I was sharing my story The voice began to cry This concerned me deeply So I had to ask him why "I too have lost a child" He died upon the cross He was crucified by man And died for all those lost So you see my precious child I know what you've gone through I am with you always Here is my gift to you This gift is my love Take it with you where ever you go Your child is in heaven And loves you more than you know So live your life for God And you will get to heaven You'll see your daughter there and be together again ~Jessie Peltier~ |

| Heavenly Children Jesus said, let the little children come unto me Knowing how painful for us that this would be He has in mind a plan we don't know God created a place for these children to go Why God takes away our children so early When He knows that we love them so dearly Is something we might not ever understand Our heavenly children for us do wait To greet us home at Heavens' pearly gates Yes we will miss them during the time we are here And there are times when we may even shed a tear Some good times and bad times all lay ahead But these are all things in which we must tread And that reunion in Heaven will be so grand ~Jessie Peltier~ |
