v6.0 - version neotokyo

This took MONTHS. It was inspired by a computer game I used to play when I were a lass. Painstakingly drawn pixel by motherfucking pixel in MS Paint, it went through about 5 different incarnations before I was finally content enough to upload it. I got a helé good reaction to it though :D

v5.0 - version spanvision2

Another one I really liked. I kept this one for quite a while cos people kept saying nice things about it and I couldnae come up with owt better. It's another Span tribute, this time paying homage to the very excellent Joff Nilsen, their guitarist. The photo was another one by Ian, I imported it into MS Paint and Photoshop, fiddled with the colours a bit, then came up with the grid background and cut-out logo in MS Paint.

v4.1 - version spanvision

I was sooooooo proud of this layout. It featured Jarle Bernhoft from the acer-than-thou Norwegian band Span, and I spent WEEKS making the background image, which was basically an edited, edited, edited photo of Jarle that my friend Ian took when we saw them play the 100 Club.

v3.0 - version crowded headroom

I don't normally go for black and pink - can be a bit clichéd. This one was black and pink. checkerboard black and white and red and pink design on the left, with the tagboard, black and pink and red picture of Martin Grech on the right, and content in the centre. Kept the scrolling javascript cos it rules.

v2.0 - version free winona

This was the first time I ever tried to be really adventurous with the design. Two halves of the screen, the left was white and the right was pale green.. photo of Winona Ryder wearing a "Free Winona" t-shirt and the tagboard on the left, main site content on the right in a lil iframe with a scrolling javascript. It got a good reaction, and I was quite proud of it.

version 1.0

It was dark blue. And boring. Blank space on the left hand side, tiny skinny vertical right hand side frame with link buttons on it, and an off-centre central frame where all the content was. The pages opened in an iframe inside the central section. It was so crap it didn't even have a proper name. Arse.
