| Student politics wasn't exactly like this at Hutt Valley Polytechnic. Several student groups gathered in central Jakarta to raise hell about the announcement of new early morning classes. Actually they had some fairly serious demands like asking President Megawati to resign because corruption. I was told the facemasks were because of SARS, rather than fear of the cops as I first thought. |

| KAMMI are a muslim youth group. To give you an idea of how brave these protestors might be. Five students were sentenced to two months jail for insutling the President Megawati, and last year another two students got two years for burning a picture of Megawati. |
