A Robotech Mission
A home for The Sentinels...

The publishers of the Robotech novels have really screwed things up, be it from their own fault or due to poor leadership from the holders of the Robotech license. Anyway, Robotech has seen a revitalisation of its fan-base over the past few years, and as a result, DelRey Books decides to re-release the old Macross Saga novels by Jack McKinney. Cool, huh?
--Nope. Its retarded. I picked up the same novels from Sam Goody (a wholly pop-culture seller) from an earlier printing several months prior to the re-release of the The Macross Saga novels. So apparently, there's not a reason to re-release the novels, because they were already readily available to whomever wanted them.
But Jack McKinney wrote probably about eighteen novels based upon Robotech. Where are the rest of them? particularly the ones that introduce new stories that the television series never aired?--these would be the best books to release, because they would give Robotech fans more information of the world that they love.
The most sought-after must be The Sentinels novels, because they depict a series which was often hinted at but never actually aired. (When the The Sentinels TV series was cut short, Robotech fans were kinda left hanging...) So thanks to Mr. McKinney, the story of The Sentinels was actually able to be known and enjoyed.
But where are the The Sentinels novels? They're not being re-released right now, and Harmony Gold will probably not give the go-ahead to do so, as, as far as they're concerned, The Sentinels never happened. As a result, the only hope is to go online and hope that you can find the novels in a used matter and hope that you don't have to pay more than seven bucks a novel.
Screw that. On this page, I hope that The Sentinels story can come to light, as I will post the novels in their entirety for your enjoyment. It is your right to know what happens in the Robotech universe, and anyone that would deny you that right is worse than the cruellest Zentraedi, the nastiest Robotech Master, and the most unrelenting Invid combined.
