Eve Tokimatsuri and Lancer Belmont
A unification of two of Robotech's greatest voices!

Upon receiving my copy of the
Robotech Perfect Soundtrack, I enjoyed the vocals of Miss Minmei and rejoiced in the hearing of Yellow Dancer and Eve Tokimatsuri's wonderful voices singing their greatest hits. However, my heart melted when a song came up that I hadn't heard before...

Its called
Underground, and it is a wonderful duet featuring the vocalists for each of these characters--Michael Bradley and Joanne Harris are wonderful alone, but to hear them together, now that is a treat!
To tell the truth, the song itself is kinda dumb-sounding at times, but the vocalists are superb--I absolutely love both of these guys! and to hear Eve and Lancer together is beyond words; I hope that, if you're a fan of Eve Tokimatsuri and Lancer Belmont, you pick up this album so that you can experience the joys that only Robotech's best can give to the world.
And so you can maybe envision what the song sounds like, I have provided the lyrics for this tune below.
Break it down!
Lancer's lyrics in bold; Eve's lyrics in italics;
both in chorus in standard font.
Underground
Composed By Michael Bradley!
There's something going on
And I don't know what
But I feel it in the air...

Maybe we ought to run
     But if you listen close
We'll let you know just where...

Just listen to me
Tonight!

Maybe you can't contend
That the world we know
Might not come to an end

But you must realise
     That we have to go
And we will tell you where...

Don't talk in your sleep
Because the walls might have ears
And its only fair
That we should take you there

[Refrain]
Maybe we should all go underground
And try to live a life without the sun
Please be careful not to make a sound
'Cause there might not be room for everyone...
Do you think you'd mind?
You may not understand
But I really feel
Our fate is in our hands

And if you follow us
We'll lead you to a place where we can be...

Don't talk in your sleep [No!]
Listen to me...
Tonight!
We must prepare
'Cause we have to go somewhere

[Refrain.]

Do you think you're gonna miss the summertime

And the sunshine on your face?
And if you think you're gonna miss the wintertime
What if the winter never goes away...?

[Refrain.]
[Repeat until end and fade.]
