| THE MACH 5 The Fastest Car in the World! |
||||||||||||
| Perhaps the greatest automobile ever created, the Mach 5 is driven by Speed Racer, the world's most popular professional race car driver. Created by Speed's father, Pops, the Mach 5 is much more than a super ultra fast car--it comes equipped with a full array of extra features that can aid the driver on and off of the track. | ||||||||||||

| Weapons Systems: Note: The following systems are each activated by pressing a corresponding letter button on the steering wheel's face. The letters are listed next to each weapon. 1. (A) LAUNCHING MECHANISM: The Mach 5 deploys two hydraulic presses from its underside to launch itself into the air. Primary Purpose: Manuvering Secondary Purpose: Flight Range: 25 feet upward Rate of Fire: Equal to the pilot's combined number of hand-to-hand attacks. 2. (B) TRACTION COVERS: In events of rough surfaces or the need for extra grip on the road. Primary Purpose: Manuvering Secondary Purpose: Wheel protection 3. (C) RETRACTABLE BUZZSAWS: When encountering obstacles, two front-mounted buzzsaws can be deployed from the front of the car. Made of great metal, the saws are nearly abel to cut through anything--even an opponent--should the need arise. Primary Purpose: Anti-obstacle Secondary Purpose: Assault Damage: 30+1d6 SDC Range: 5 meters directly forward or 2 meters to either front side of the car. Rate of Fire: Equal to the pilot's combined number of hand-to-hand attacks. 4. (D) PROTECTIVE CANOPY: Deploying this sheet of glass over the automobile's occupants, the Mach 5 is protected by a bulletproof, water-insulating cover. Primary Purpose: Defense Secondary Purpose: Speed/Aerodynamics 5. (E) HIGH POWER HEADLIGHTS: Acting almost like infrared lights, these supplementary headlights give the pilot up to 500 meters of extra sight distance on land and 200 meters in water. Primary Purpose: Illumination Secondary Purpose: Assault 6. (F) RETRACTABLE PERISCOPE: A periscope that sends its sights (range: 1000 meters) to the in-cockpit screen, able to rise up to 30 meters straight upward. Primary Purpose: Reconnaissance Secondary Purpose: Assault 7. (G) ROBOTIC CARRIER BIRD: Via a remote control, the pilot can launch a mechanical carrier bird from its hood. The bird is able to carry up to 50 pounds of weight and still fly at a rate of 100 KPH. Primary Purpose: Information Delivery Secondary Purpose: Reconnaissance Rate of Fire: Once per 24 hour period, due to limited power reserves. Standard Equipment for the Mach 5: Propeller engine: For use underwater, the Mach 5 uses a turbine propeller engine to propel itself at speeds up to 100 KPH. License Plate: A standard Japanese issue license plate circa 1966, number 21 2787. Robot Controller: For use with the carrier bird, the pilot uses a hand-held control with directional controls to direct its path. CB Radio System: Used between race teams and police systems, the radio system of the Mach 5 has a communication distance of about 500 miles. |
