GUIDE TO UNDERSTANDING THE CORRECT CENTURY OF GUNDAM
The following chronological list contains a number of dictational forms which may be confusing to the newcomer to the multi-faceted world of Gundam, the most important of which will be noted here.
- Dates are organised into columns representing the equivelant date in the Correct Century continuity and the date as noted within the original story's separate continuity.
- Events are noted either as "Correct Century Only" (where the event noted is only possible in Correct Century timelines) or "Original Story" (where the event is cited in one of the original stories' timelines).
- The Correct Century recognises only "Gundam" stories which are integral to the progression of humanity's development and social understanding. In cases where multiple sources conflict, the following hierarchy is used to decide which story is included in Correct Century's understanding: 1) "Core" animated series ("Universal Century"-related series written by Yoshiyuki Tomino; "Mobile Fighter G Gundam," "New Mobile Report Gundam Wing," and "After War Gundam X"); 2) "Secondary" animated series ("Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory," et al.); 3) Non-humourous comic books ("Mobile Suit Gundam: Ecole du Ciel" et al.); 4) Video games ("Mobile Suit Gundam: AEUG vs Titans" et al.); 5) All other sources in no order of precedence.
