I am an incurable collector, always on the lookout for something vintage or retro. I love going to yard and garage sales, dropping by thrift stores and flea markets; even picking up good junk left by the roadside for the garbage collector! It amazes me that people will throw out something that just needs a little cleaning or minor repair. Many people throw out an item just because it has lost it's appeal to them.

I am somewhat of an eclectic collector. I love Royal Winton Chintz China. I got started collecting Chintz when my mother-in-law gave me a cup and saucer that had been in the family for many years. The prize of the lot is my teapot with creamer and sugar.

I also collect Blue Ridge Pottery. The "Blue Bell" is my favorite pattern and we use it daily. I am always on the lookout for more fill-in pieces for this setting. Please see my "Wanted" page for pieces I am currently watching for to help complete the setting.

My husband collects McCoy, Hull and Shawnee planters. He's literally un-earthed planters from crawl spaces and back yards. As a side Pat and our son Danny make Homemade Soap! Real honest to goodness soap made with natural plant oils and butters.

Unfortunately we aren't able to keep everything we come across, the house is only so big! That's why we run auctions on eBay. The selection is eclectic, but everything is useful.
