Malaysian
Corn Craze
For KL corn lovers, forget about the corn in the cup sold at the mini/super/hyper markets. Meet the corn man at
Leboh Ampang, in front of HSBC. He's there every evening from 4pm till the corns are finished. These sweet corns are boiled in a big pot with their skins still attached. Prices range from RM1.00 to RM1.30 per corn according to the size. You can have it peeled, buttered and salted or just peeled. It's also packed individually for your convenience. The corn here is very well boiled, so the soft seeds come out of its shell easily. Sekali cuba, mesti nak lagi!!!

Rojak Best!!
The ingredients are simple but the taste is simply fantastic. A mixture of cubed-cut fried bean curds, slices of cucur udang, cucumber and sengkuang/turnip, dipped in excellent chilli sauce with a sprinkle of pounded groundnut...mmm, sounds nice? It is! A nameless stall situated about 50 metres to the right opposite of
Safuan Plaza at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman serves this rojak. But take note, on Fridays, the Q can be rather long. Some drool over the rojak while others drool over the owner's daughter :). Basic rojak costs RM1.50.

Curry and Soup Noodle under Hot Roof
If youre happened to stroll along the sidewalk on the left side of Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman from the Big-A supermarket towards the Sogo/Pertama Complex, youll see a place where so many people queeing for the Intrakota buses. Turn left and therell be a centre of makan places. The name is Pusat Penjaja, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Look for the second stall on your right. The curry mee is cooked with cookles and bean sprouts, serves hot with slices of red chillies. And the tasty chicken soup noodle is served with sliced of cili padi in soya sauce. Youll be gulping the gravy before you know it. While youre there, dont forget the lai chi kang drink tops with grated ice.  The price is very reasonable and the service is fast but its a bit hot to eat under the zinc roof. If your office is nearby, just tapau and enjoys it in your air-conditioned office!
