BookStop, Tmn. Tun Dr Ismail, opposite the old Jaya Jusco, near RHB.
They've got quite a good selection of books. We've seen all the Harry Potter books here and some good business/management titles. The selection of magazines are rather good too, especially the IT titles. Mags like ECompany Now and Red Herring, otherwise difficult to find, are all here. And for the kiddies, the BookStop organises
story telling sessions every other Saturday.

The Junk Bookstore, 78, Jalan Tun H.S Lee .
They've got millions, and we mean, millions of books, journals and magazines here. Some new, mostly old. Very, very old. And that's the real value, of course.  You can actually dig up some gems here and the prices are more than reasonable. The
old magazines sections are most interesting to us. You can find 20-year old wrestling magazines, GQs and the earlier versions of Malaysia's best selling mag, URTV. Check out the Uji Rashid covers! The only setback is the lack of space. The books are every where, on the floor and on the doorsteps, so the place is kinda stuffy. But the Junk Bookstore offers an experience you can find nowehere else. It might take a few weeks just to go through all the titles on offer, though.

Readers World, 4th Floor, Plaza Kotaraya.
Boy, talk about huge, this place has acres and acres of space. Readers World is definitely one of the biggest bookshops in KL! However, the titles on offer are rather limited. Don't expect to find rare imported titles. But the good news is, this is the place for students looking for
PMR and SPM reference book. They have just about every title here. It's also the place for Chinese readers.

Kedai Buku Avenue, LG1, S&M Shopping Arcade (Next to Kotaraya).
Whoa! Tons of magazines! Yeah, just about every title imaginable are here.
Wrestling mags, car mags, hi-fi mags, they have it all. there's also a section for old/used magazines which are real bargains. You can buy mags like GQ for RM7.00 each or other imported titles going for "3 for RM20". Only setback is the unfriendly attitude of the sales assistants. Browsing is strictly frowned upon! :(
