Michael is the new Teen Volunteer Program Coordinator for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

As an active member of both the Association for Volunteer Administration and the Points of Light Foundation, he enjoys working with those who desire to learn about the Professional Management of Volunteers.

Michael is Editor-in-Chief of Volunteer Management Review and a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Volunteer Administration.  Additionally he is working on his Professional Project for a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management

He is a past Board Member of the Colorado Natural Resource Volunteer Managers, the National Association of Volunteer Programs in Local Government and was the Volunteer Services Coordinator for Jefferson County Open Space in Colorado.

Michael launched the new Technology Divison for the Association for Volunteer Administration at the 2002 International Conference on Volunteer Administration.
