I am currently working towards an Associates degree in Computer User Support at Linn-Benton Community College. I am a single dad, with a son who has also graduated from my own alma mater South Albany High School. I had fifteen years in the newspaper printing industry, where I began my Pressman Apprenticeship at Albany Democrat-Herald. In 2000, I had to change my career after a 1996 OTJ back injury made it too difficult to lift bundles and boxes of paper repetitively, without being heavily medicated. I'm now learning to work smarter, not harder. This opens the door of opportunity wide, as I can now develop customized Web pages for my business clients.
