Adjusted, did I say adjusted?  Well, let me tell you something you may have not noticed.  I wasn't the only one getting adjusted, I physically became adjusted.  That's right see that cup on my head.  A friggin' cup, mind you!!  Also, do you see all that tape?  Do you see my head hanging from embarrassment?  What gives here folks?  I was living this wonderful life, taking a trip with the family.  Our first trip from home, and away from out Mother DD.  It was cold and lots of white stuff everywhere.  This journey seemed to take a long time.  Finally, the car stops, we all get whisked away.
We are greeted by these people in colorful clothing.  I can smell many other animals in here.  That guy that always is at our house was with us, and so was our human mommy.  They helped us into some small cages.  I was feeling very nervous.  But, they gave us something that made me feel very happy.  No later than sooner, I was waking up.  I didn't know I had fallen asleep.  Oh man, there's this tremendous urge to urinate, and itch.  ITCH, talk about an itch.  But where, I knew there was an itch, but I can't quite pinpoint it.  Every minute things became more and more clear to me.  That's it, that's it, my EARS!  Oh how they itch.  Wait, I can't scratch them.  Something is in the way, or I can't feel them.  No, if I can't feel them, what is it?  I look around and, Ha, ha, haha, I can't help but laugh.  My brothers and sisters all have some strange thing on their head.  But, they are laughing at me too.  Me too?  I have one as well?  Ugh, if it makes us laugh at each other, I guess I can manage.
Here's my grandmother Deco.  She is giving me some advice on how to deal with this new headware I have on.  She let me know, that she had went through the same procedure many moons ago.  She also informed me, that it is what helps us look very regal and majestic.  Oooh, regal and majestic, that was me.  I liked the sound of that, however I still wasn't convinced.  At least I was used to that awful white stuff.  She also told me that was snow.  It comes often there.
As with many things, time heals all.  Funny, I don't ever recall my ears hurting.  Lots and lots of itching though.  Not to mention our heads were new targets of aggression amongst the littermates.  What a better way to pin down someone, then by grabbing their cup and yanking.  It happened to me all the time.
I got used to it though, just like I did everything else.  Eventually we went from cups to no cups.  Our ears still needed to be tended to.  Sometimes, it was a daily task.  As soon as we were all fixed up, one of the littermates tore them down.  We were helping each other, really.  We didn't want to look so ridiculous when others came by.  Our humans didn't seem to believe in that though.  Becuase, no sooner they were off, were sitting through another taping session.
Sitting there while they taped was boring.  I wasnted to play and eat, heck why not sleep.  I know I didn't want to keep sitting through all this.  When would it end?  Here you see about how boring it was to have to wear this silly contraption.  People laughed and pointed fingers, lots of people understood though.  I was sure glad I stayed at home most of the time though.  Nobody dares make fun of Shebang's Enviable Midori Rose, not when she will look even more regal and majestic.
