Design

Everything on the Real California Cheese website, is accessible and user friendly. All the necessary information and links that are most interesting and relevant to the product if upfront. The entire website seems like one block of cheese, and keeps involving their "Happy Cows" campaign. The many point and click menus on the mainpage offers detailed information about both company and website

Function

The Functions on this website, include a kids section, a video section displaying past commericals, a online store to purchase products of the brand such as the cow mascot. the other menus throughout the site allows the use to download recipes involving cheese, information on how cheese is made, and different types of cheeses.

Marketing strategy

Real California Cheese by use of their website targets various demographic segmentations, focusing mainly on females ages 26-40 who have families, this would allow them to see what recipes there are to cook, what kind of nutrients cheese contains, and also general information to attain. It may also appeal to children in a sense that there is a kids section, this would encourage them to drink milk or eat cheese or any dairy product since cows are related to these products. They also convey the "happy cow" message to show if the cows are happy, then the products being sold will make the consumer happy as well

Improvement and Ideas

Some ideas that this website could use, perhaps have the contact information more visible in the front page. Even though the website is meant to be simple, maybe they could include moving parts when the cursor is put over the icon for the link. Another idea, is maybe a question forum on the website where users throughout the world can communicate about the product. In general this website has many features that do the job to attract consumers/users to the site, personally I don't feel that there are many changes necessary to be made to the site.
