| Prince of Hearts |
| Cupids arrow pierced two hearts, a miracle happened soon after the darts. He was a gift so pretty, a beautiful boy, an imp of an angel for all to enjoy. He came into the world on Valentines Day, he came with his mom from a land far away. He stayed in a castle with his family so near, his cousins & Aunts & the King loved him dear. As he grew & he traveled , the Prince learned well, he loved sports & adventures, oh the stories they tell. He loved kids & they him, he was patient & kind, but you didn`t have to look hard for the jokester to find. A handsome young man, he became strong & burly, dark features, thick frame, brown hair laced silver & curly. He could tease you & make you smile with his wit & charm, but a warrior he was if he thought a loved one in harm. He laid down one nite & from his sleep he didn`t awake, no one could belive it, it had to be a mistake. As I watched as he lay there, the Prince so young, wondering why this happened, his life now done. Seeing those come & pay their respects, living without him & what to expect. The void that you feel, the hole in your soul, will it always be there, that big black hole? I didn`t have an answer but my legend I`ll keep, he died in a battle fighting dragons in his sleep. I`ll miss you forever my Prince Jimmy, I Love , your memory I`ll treasure as a priceless gift from above. Written By Aunt Sandi |
