For the hatch of my 1996 Integra LS, the rattle culprit turned out to be the latching mechanism for the hatch. The solution is simple, wrap the U-Shaped Latch on your hatch in electrical tape. A few layers is really all you need. If you use too much tape, your hatch will either not latch closed or will be really difficult to close. The easiest way to tell if your hatch latch is rattling is to have someone lay in the hatch or sit in the back while you drive around and take some turns. My car loved to rattle when I would turn right. Hope this helps. |
