| Lil Jon began as a club DJ. In 1993, Jermaine Dupri invited him to come work for So So Def Records. There he was the vice president of A&R. In the meantime, Jon hosted a radio show at v103. He bgan producing and remixing tracks for major artist that include Too Short, Xscape, Total, and Usher. Jon then made a name for himself and debuted his Eastside Boyz on Get Crunk, Who U Wit: Da Album and made a club anthem, "Who U Wit?" For the next five years, he stayed an underground phenomenon. Then, he created his second massive hit, "Bia', "Bia'" Jon and the Eastside Boyz quickly released their album Kings of Crunk in 2002. By 2003, Jon had a lot of hit songs. |
