Ginny Danger Actions
Have you ever sat down and thought about what your guinea pig could go through and never realized that guinea pigs are like us people and therefore could go through the things we go through, except since they're small, it could be worse.

The reason for why I'm saying all of this, is because on this page will list the danger your guinea pig might be experiencing, and how you could deal with it. Also, for an extra, for example: If your guinea pig is breathing hard for instance, I will tell you what that means, and how to deal with it so that you don't need to check up anywhere else!
Disease  Details  Ways to Deal with It
Heat Stroke Occurs when    guinea pig is left in the sun too long If your guinea pig's mouth begins to water, and breathes rapidly, just simply place it in a cold cold wet towel for about 10 minutes, and it'll be fine.
Diarrhea Occurs because the food isn't healthy enough for the stomachs Change their diet. Give it less of everything, and make sure that their water isn't TOO cold or that the environment is too humid or too cold either.
Sneezing The bedding, dust around or spoiled hay Don't place bedding if your guinea pig is allergic to it.
Eyes are swollen or watery Occurs when too much dust attaches to eyes or irritation from hairs reaching into the eyes Clean their eyes or just leave them. They could handle it themselves sometimes.
Refuses to Eat Food = Spoiled, The room is either too cold or too warm, need fresh water Buy fresh food and fill their water bottles with fresh water, and make sure the room is just the right temperature.
Areas of Hair Loss Need Vitamins, hair biting from lack of roughage and fiber in the food Feed Vitamins, and make sure food has fiber and roughage
Sits around alone Lost a companion, bored, lack of affection, or exercise Either buy your guinea pig a new companion, or play with it more often.
More will be updated soon. If you have some that happened to your guinea pig, or you just know about - that I haven't already listed, then please send it to my email: [email protected], or [email protected]
