More Foundations Zones Opening
by Sanya Thomas
Well, Foundations certainly is popular! We're glad you're enjoying our free expansion so much. We said we'd add more housing zones if we needed to, and so we are going to open three more housing zones per server (one for each realm) in 1.64. Thanks for all your feedback, and for all your help creating neighborhoods and communities in Dark Age of Camelot.

Patch Release 1.63F
by Matt Firor
These fixes are now up on Pendragon. Scheduling note: we are planning to take this Foundations bug fix patch live tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 8:00am eastern time. All the fixes that have been tested this week on Pendragon will be included in tomorrow's live update.
==================================== Dark Age of Camelot Version 1.63f Release Notes ====================================
We are planning to take this Foundations bug fix patch live tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 8:00am eastern time. All the fixes that have been tested this week on Pendragon will be included in tomorrow's live update.
NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES
- You can no longer transfer a house from a personal home to a guild house, or sell a house to another player if your house has a consignment merchant or vault active. If you want to transfer or sell your house, you must now pick up the consignment merchant and vault, or sell them.
- We've changed the "order" in which permissions are enforced by the server. Here is the new list, in order of priority: Account -> Personal -> Guild Rank -> Guild. This means that any account permissions will take precedence over all other types of permissions, Personal permissions will take precedence over Guild, etc.
- Please note that there is a bug that causes items in house vaults to be placed randomly in the various vaults in a house whenever the server is rebooted. Items placed into one vault show up after a server reboot in another vault in that house. This bug will be fixed soon, but not by Thursday morning's live update. So, if you have items in a vault after the server reboot that appear to be missing, check out the other vaults in your house - they will be there.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

==================================== Dark Age of Camelot Version 1.63g Release Notes Wednesday, July 9, 2003 ====================================
We are planning to take this Foundations bug fix patch live tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 8:00am eastern time. All the fixes that have been tested this week on Pendragon will be included in tomorrow's live update.
NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES
- The signposts on lots 3260 through 3269 (the village of Tullahien) have been rotated to the correct orientation. They now face the proper direction.
- Lots 129, 137, 3236, 3245, and 3236 have been flattened so that garden objects should no longer float in the air or sink into the ground in those lots.
- The following Midgard tradeskill masters in the housing zones will now allow players to join the crafting order. Belini (Weapon Crafter), Ethandra (Armor Crafter), Unerrang (Weapon Crafter), and Nelanna (Armor Crafter).

Patch Release 1.63D - Today's Patch Notes
by Sanya Thomas
Servers are coming down now (as I posted yesterday) and will return in a few hours. Watch this space for more details. Anyway, here are the updated notes we're bringing live this morning:
==================================== Dark Age of Camelot Version 1.63d Release Notes Tuesday, July 8, 2003 ====================================
NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES
- When trying to use the "/housefriend" command in a non-housing zone, you now get an appropriate message that the command can only be used in a housing zone.
- Under some circumstances, level 1 houses would not charge money for external upgrades (roof materials, doors, etc.). This has been fixed.
- There was an issue on Gaheris (the co-op server) where "alt" characters who attempted to purchase a lot would be charged for the lot but would not be given the deed. This situation happened when that account had another character who was already a homeowner and who made that house a guild house. This bug has been fixed.
- We fixed a bug where if you attempted to purchase an item from a consignment vendor and dropped that item directly onto your "paper doll" interface (instead of simply clicking the 'buy' button), the item would be purchased, but would delete an item in your inventory.
- There was a bug that prevented the withdrawal of money from a consignment merchant if that merchant had more than 200 plat. This has been fixed. The merchant will give you enough plat such that you have 200 total and will hold onto the rest.
- You can no longer trade a house to a player if that player already owns a lot with a different character.

Another Read File
by Sanya Thomas
As an unfortunate side effect of our earlier readfile, some Midgard horse tickets were invalid.
We have fixed the merchants to sell the correct tickets. Invalid tickets are still unusable however, and should be either sold or destroyed.

Patch Release 1.63D - Notes On Pendragon, Going Live Tomorrow
by Sanya Thomas
The following is the first of possibly several patches, so keep your eyes on the Herald! A brief reminder: If you've had any losses due to bugs, please appeal. It may take several days for us to fully investigate, read logs, and verify the particulars, but if we can verify that you've lost something due to a bug, we will replace it - as we have already done for those whose investigations are complete.
And now without further ado, the patch notes that will go live tomorrow morning. We intend to take the servers down at 10:00 AM EDT, and bring them back around noon.

Read Files
by Sanya Thomas
Please note that these are read file fixes - things that can be repaired by simply uploading files to the game without taking the servers down. We are working on some other bug fixes right now that will require us to take the servers down - please, watch this space for notes and more details.
SHROUDED ISLES WORLD NOTES:
Quests- General:
Fylara's Armor: Fylara should be giving reinforced leggings correctly now.
Dungeon:
Fomor: Fomorian riviants should no longer hit for excessively low damage.
Monsters:
Hibernia:
Krrzck guardians and Krrzck warlocks will no longer drop Xcrzrk's Remains.
Housing Notes:
Hibernians should now be able to turn in trophy remains from the frontiers.
Housing:
Players doing consignments in the housing zones should no longer get consignments for merchants in player houses. Please note that the servers will need to reboot for this to take effect.
(Sanya here - what this means is that merchants people buy from now on won't be part of the consignment system. Merchants that were placed before this morning will still be part of the consignment system, but only until we reboot the servers.)

Some Minor Fixes
by Matt Firor
These fixes are being installed on the live servers right now - they don't require the servers to be taken down, so by the time you read this, everything should already be done. Here's the notes:
Mordred and Gaheris:
- The duplicate Maran has been fixed. The appropriate Maran will now appear in the Torrylin Marketplace.
Regular server fixes:
- The Shrouded Isles Teleporter in Aegirhamn on the standard and role-play servers will now teleport characters to a house owned by that specific character.
- Means to and End: Wardens stuck on step 2 of the quest will now be able to turn in Legion's Copper Coin and continue with the quest.
- Tusker should now drop Tusker's Remains as intended.
- Aidon the Archwizard should drop the appropriate realm treasure for Hibernia and Midgard.
