Broken Heart

I scream and cry and curse your name,
Never knowing I was a pawn in your sick little game.
My heart, a game piece, just a small token,
You moved it, and used it and then left it broken.
Why I trusted my heart to you,
When you came into my life out of the blue?
It's what I ask myself, each and every day,
Hating myself for not listening to what my heart had to say.
All I wanted was a pure and true love,
A beautiful angel sent to me from above.
But I left my heart open, and then lost the key.
I could not lock the door to my love before you found me.
My innocent heart, twisted and broken in two,
My head in the clouds, wondering what to do.
Your love is a drug, that I need to score,
But it kills me inside, still wanting more.
