Becker is the type of person we all wish we were. At least I do, sometimes.

Becker is a Doctor, twice divorced, living alone, and frequently goes to the Diner that Reggie owns.  While at Reggie's place he insults her patrons, Jake the Newspaper vendor, and especially Bob. When he is at his office he constantly gets in trouble with Margaret his Nurse, and he gets headaches from Linda the assistant.  But there is a soft side to John Becker, it is rarely seen, but it is there. He cares for his friends and his patients, although he tries not to show it and it just about kills him to be a Good Guy. But he can be. I hope Becker continues for many years to come. It is one of the best shows to come along in a long time.
