When VW enters the top class in 2002 with the Phaeton, they will set a milestone in diesel engine technology with their innovative high performance V10 TDI.
The V10 TDI will however first be available in 2003, shortly later it will be show up in the new Audi A8
(introduction IAA 2002, available 2003).
