| VW's Touareg with V10 TDI Volkswagen introduced their first off road model, named Touareg. In cooperation with Porsche, Volkswagen has developed their own and first off road car, based on the same platform as Porsche Cayenne. Also unique is the V10, 5Liter TDI engine, that generates 313 hp and an enormous torque of 750Nm and is already available before the VW Phaeton. The top speed is 225Km/u. With its size, luxury and performance Volkswagen is directly entering High-end offroad class, focussing on X5, Range Rover and Mercedes ML. Interesting would be to know, how much a tuned V10 TDI will deliver? 360 hp and 900Nm? we just wait and see... |
