2- It is one of biggest manufacturer countries and has effective trade worldwide
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. (Re 18:11)
Note: the mentioned "slaves and souls of men", could represent white slaves and sex industry as one of the biggest industries worldwide nowadays
3- It either consists from many different ethnic nations OR rule many nations OR the both.
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters (Re 17:1)
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues (Re 17:15)
4- It has a majority of population believing in deviated or misinterpreted (i.e Non Apostolic) Christian faith
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. (Re 18:20)
Note : This could give us the reason behind being described as a mother of harlots
Among these misinterpreted believes:
- Considering Rome as "Babylon" of revelation when it should be considered "Armageddon"
- Believe in second return of Jesus Christ in order to establish and rule a kingdom on the earth in controversy to explicit Jesus teaches about this point :
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. (Joh 18:36)
And despite the Christian creed which limits this return to only the last doom day.
Note : These misinterpretations could lead to the following catastrophic consequences during Beast time:
- Correlation between the awaited Jewish Messiah and second return of Jesus Christ to the earth which will lead to believe in Jewish messiah as our Jesus Christ when he should considered a "False Prophet"
- Go behind and support the wrong side ("The side of false prophet against the side of witnesses and 144,000 Jewish followers") thus being responsible on their killing with all their followers during Anti Christ period.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. (Re 18:24)
- It is also probable that this country will manufacture the Mark of the Beast to trade with him, putting all Jesus followers under Beast captive and this could interpret to us the similarity between this country and the old Testament Babylon.
5- It has some other minority of population who will reject such above deviated believes (for whom they are called to leave it out)
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Re 18:4)
6- It is arrogant country
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. (Re 18:7)
Probable reasons of this arrogance could be:
- Feeling of its military superiority over others
- Feeling of being secured due to its far location or due to its superior defending systems or due the both.
- Feeling confident due to a misleading think that it is not the one intended to be the aimed Babylon (As mentioned above that some people may think of Rome or some others may think of other cities else such as Mecca/Saudi Arabia) (Read the new theory which will gain wide reputation and respect in the coming future http://www.joelstrumpet.com)
One of expected consequences to this arrogance is already mentioned in the holy bible:
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. (Re 17:16)

And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. (Re 18:17)
Now after putting all the above seven characters of this country, let us try to find out who is it, specially when we discover that all these 7 characters are only describing one country nowadays which is the most probably our search goal.

6- U.S.A is the military power No. 1, with its defending systems and its far location could provide her with security against external attacks.

Why using nuclear weapons in the case of Babylon fighting and not using it in the case of �Armageddon� fighting where land war and sieging by gathering of troops is the method described in revelation book?

Explanation to this question relies on only one thing which is:
Babylon location relatively to the beast kingdom and the 10 horns.
As this could give us an evidence that �Babylon� is located relatively more far away from the Beast and relatively more isolated than in the case of �Armageddon�
