| Getting All Pretty and then Not Going Out On Purpose: Saturday, January 6, 2002 1:26am | ||||||
| So all this week I've been staying out late and getting home late and tonight I wanted to stay home. So I told everyone I knew that I was staying home and henceforth, I had no obligation to do anything. I did, however, want to get pretty for myself. I took my time in the shower and doing my makeup and deciding what to wear. Then I just sat around the house. Yes, people did come over, but even if they hadn't, I would have looked nice. I think this is my own way of proving to myself that I try to look nice not to impress others, but to reassure myself that I am pretty. Sad, but true. | ||||||
