All apologies for the lack of updating yesterday.  I usually update at night and blah blah blah i couldn't.

So there's this woman in my Computer Science class that is really strange.  She's of motherly age and has apparantly "done some programming before on visual basic" and she knows "everyone laughs at visual basic" but she is really strange.  Julia, she looks like a skinny version of Mrs. Norman.  Ew.  So she's always really perky and talks kind of like a kindergarden teacher meets therapist meets computer programmer.  So there's this new guy in my class and I can tell he's from somewhere besides america. I can also tell that he comes to class before work, because he was wearing a suit and tie.  So early in the class yesterday this weird woman said something, and almost immediatley the new guy said "That woman is on crack!"  He said it really loudly too and she probably would have heard it if she weren't so doped up.

Also, my english teacher keeps talking about sex.  Granted, we are studying Kate Chopin stories, which do have a lot of sexual imagery in them, but does he have to talk about it all the time?  For example, he asked the class when the climax of the story occurred, and then immidiatley answered himself, "THE CLIMAX!"  Ew.  He does say some funny things though, such as "You can't marry a dentist's daughter, huh?  All those teeth!" and (trying to quote something modern) "Find me the money."  And it's not that I think it's inappropriate, it just makes me uncomfortable.  I only talk explicitly about sex with my closest closest friends, and even then it's hard for me to say yucky words.  Creepy.

I'm in a pretty good mood.

Have you people seen the new delias catalog?  I love the clothes this time.  The past couple years I've hated them but right now they have this whole "earth tones" or "gypsy" theme, and I really like them.  So all I have to do now is get paid...

to your right you see a sticker I saw on the steps on campus.  In case you can't read it, it says "Refuse to be smart.  Dot Com.  Try your chin out."  I understand the whole "rage against the po-pos and the machine and the man and I can do whatever I want and kill your tv and death to the dot com generation" but "try your chin out?"  Someone please explain.
