The Lumping-Together of Certain Holidays:  Monday, January 21, 2002  3:23pm

I am not one of those people who thinks that Civil War Heroes do not deserve a holiday, or some sort of recognition for what they have done for our country.  I am not one of those people who hates the south, even though nothing ever gets done there.  I just really don't think it's right to put Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson on the same day as Martin Luther King.  Dr. King is way too important to not have his own holiday.  I mean really, of all people, Lee, Jackson and KING?  Civil rights leader I have a dream we shall overcome free at last paired with two men who fought for slavery (I know, among many other more important things but still)?  I am moving.
