| Small Car Sunday 2000 came, and in a mad rush of a week the car was sort of prepped. The under neath was cleaned up, and dodgily brush painted in black enamel. The suspension was also brush painted. Ugh. To tell you the truth though it looked a million bucks! Well compared to what it was anyway. This show scored me top 25 judged. |
| The motor finally died, and after 18 months of abuse from a hero p plater what else would you expext. It had only recieved a reco head, mild cam, extractors, exhaust and a rebuilt carby. Detonation had seen the pistons and rings hammered into non existence and the bearings were shot. |
