| Jesus Benavidez was drafted into the Army some time after his brothers had been honorably discharged, about 1950. He received training in Maryland and was stationed in Germany repairing heavy equipment for the Army, such as tanks. He also received training and worked as a medic during this time and in conjuction with sending supplies to Korea for the campaign there. He served three years and was honorably discharged.
