| William Newton and Laura Alice (Rosser) Hilliard Family Based solely on date reconstruction, I believe this photo was taken about 1895 and the family members are as follows: Beginning from left to right is the daughter of Laura (Rosser) Hilliard, Sarah Josephine Nixon, then Mary Hilliard (my grandmother) standing next to father, William Newton, then the first born son, William Isaac, standing next to mother, Laura Alice, who is holding Marvin. The boys next to William Newton would be Horace Bell and Taylor. Earl (Pete) was born November 1995 and would not be shown, if my estimates are correct. Anne was born in September 1898 and would not be shown. Hattie died in 1882 at five months of age, and John Wesley died in 1887 at the age of six months, and they would also not be shown. |
