| Sacrifice of ourselves: Psalms 4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. Proverbs 16:3-4 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Proverbs 24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethern, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, exceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us and offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. 1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. Christ's Sacrifice for us: Hebrews 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all inquity, and purify into himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
