It is said that Freddie once joked that when he died he would like to be buried with all his
things just like the Pharoahs in Egypt.

Freddie used to go shopping quite a lot and during tours he used to buy antiques and art
for his own home and for family and friends. He loved fine art and had many paintings of the old Victorian masters.
One of his favourite painters was the Russian artist Marc Chagall.

Freddie had a very beautiful house in London, at Logan Place no 1, which is situated in
Kensington. In the early 1980s he bought the house for Ģ 500,000. Originally the house
was built for the banking family Hoare. The house had 8 bedrooms, 4 marble bathrooms,
a jacuzzi and a minstrelīs gallery.

Freddie used to collect Dresden dolls.
One of his favourite buildings in the world was the Gaudi Cathedral which is situated in
the Spanish city Barcelona.
Freddie used to be quite frightened of water, but he managed to overcome his phobia at Ibiza, where he spend a lot of his holidays during the 1980s.
