About Us
Hi, my name is Joyce, & we have been breeding birds for over 15 years. It all started with a pair of Cockatiel. As we learned more about the destruction of the Rain Forest & the habitats, we set out to raise some of the endangered species & do our part to help preserve them. By having domestic birds for the pet trade, we hope to slow down the need to capture the wild ones. There are lots of breeders with the same intentions.
Our breeding program includes closed bands on all babies except finch, (They have open bands.) & maintaining records on all breedings & parents. We exchange bloodlines with other breeders to produce the best possible stock. We are members of most of the local bird clubs & AFA. (American Federation of Aviculture) I am currently President of the San Diego Bird Breeders Club. If you are in our area, & would like to come to a meeting, please E-mail me for more information. We would love to have you visit. We offer our birds flight space, shelter, a balanced diet, & lots of TLC.
We breed & raise a variety of birds in outdoor flights that have access to an indoor area. These range from a variety of mostly Austrailian finches, along with other types. We also raise Lovebirds, Cockatiel, Conures, & a few parrots. Take a stroll with us along the flights, or meet some of our "family" in the photo album!
