| Students' Progress Reports come out mid-way through the grading period-- 4 1/2 weeks. Report cards are given at the end of each nine week period. Parent / Teacher conferences are held at the end of the 1st and 3rd nine week periods. |

| Grading |
| If a student is absent, it is school policy the student be given 2 days for each day absent to complete any work missed. So, if a student missed 2 days of school, any absent work would be due on the morning of the fifth day. |

| Late Work |
| Students have plenty of time during class to finish most assignments. Sometimes something comes up and work is not finished. If this happens, the student may take the unfisnished work home. It is due the following morning. |
| Spelling and Homework |
| Spelling words usually go home on Friday unless there is a holiday. Spelling and Cloze review test are on Thursday. A dictated sentence spelling word review will be given on Wednesday. Homework and reading logs go home on Monday and are due the following Monday. |

| Hot lunch $2.00 Milk only $0.25 Please prepay for lunches at least one week in advance. Pay at the office before school. |
| Discipline |
| GREEN---Great! YELLOW---Be Careful RED---10 minutes of recess or after school PURPLE---15 minutes of rescess or after school, note/ phone call home BLACK---Send to office to visit with principal about behavior. Students will be asked to write down reasons for gettting their card changed to red, purple or black. |

| Redo Work |
| If a student recieves a grade lower than a C- (70%) he or she may redo the paper--with help if needed. The paper is due the same day it is handed back to correct. If he or she does not finish it that day they need to tell me and I will give them until the next morning to complete it. |
