The Reverend married and had children and at least one grandchild born in Sept. 1915.
From the Sheffield, Yorkshire city directories we learn:

Reverend J.W.WOODCOCK(born: abt 1880's- died after 1949) see photo.
Possibly the son of Reverend Joseph William WOODCOCK (above).

Joseph WOODCOCK(born: about 1850 - died after June 1926 - see photo.
It is believed that he is the relative who preceeded William James Woodcock to America and drove a milk wagon.

"Uncle" Joe WOODCOCK(born 1863 - died Aug. 15, 1945)
Believed to be William James Woodcock's brother. He lived in Flatbush with Annie, Florrie and William in the 1940's in a central room in the house. He worked at night (possibly a baker) and slept during the day. The shades in his room were always pulled.
see photo.

"Uncle" Tom WOODCOCK (born 1833? - after 1881)see photo.
I found this family and believe it is our "Uncle Tom"
However, I have no proof yet
