The department of  EEE was started in SASTRA  in 1984 . From then on it was no looking back for our department under the able guidance of our beloved H.O.D, Dr.P.S.SRINIVASAN who has guided several budding engineers from darkness onto light.

But the history isn't as important now considering the fact that this site has been created to cater to the needs of students..

This site is stands testimony to the Students of The Department of Electrical and Electronics: Batch Of 2001-2005.
This is, to date, the first time that an effort has been taken to make the students of this Department acquire an online identity. It is hoped that this site would improve the standard of interaction between not only the students but also between the student community and the Staff Co-Ordinators of the department.

We hope this site serves as a CATALYST for helping the students in their quest for Knowledge.
