Vampires do exist. In fact they are a group of cold-blooded murderers that enjoy masquerading someone that is mystical, fascinating, and fearsome. They are humans, not some super nocturnal creatures. Ultimately they aim to inject others with awe and fear with their activities.

In daily lives, ‘vampires’ are usually man who feels utterly empty and suppressive, and strongly hated others. They seek joy and satisfactions on the expense of others' miseries. As most people are afraid of darkness, and the sight of blood, the founder of Vampirism used these as the main features of a vampire. The culture of Vampirism is created to entertain these 'insane' people. Hence a vampire is suppose to be a nocturnal, blood-thirsty creature that roams the night with long razor-like fangs dripping with blood, and victimizing anyone in sight. His victims have to be his subordinates that will be of full obedience in gratitude that they supposedly gain longevity.

Concluding vampires in daytime, are nerds (since they usually hide in some secret hideouts such as a coffin), and as mid-night approaches, they transforms into another personality --a powerful and almighty creature that sucks blood, and granting longevity to their victims in return. Vampirism is a doctrine created under wild modes of imagination due to unbearable suppression and urge of recognition. It is practiced by people with mental abnormalities and a thirst for blood.

If u asked me do vampires exist, my answer would be “Who knows”. I can only say that they are “things” in this world that are beyond our understanding. Personally, I  really don’t know how much I believe that vampires exist in this world because all the vampires that are cited in books that I’ve read are all people from the past, like the Countess Elizabeth Bathory, Sergeant Bertrand and John George Haigh. They are all dead, so there is no way of proving whether they REALLY are vampires or are just people who show signs of vampirism. They might be mistaken as vampires because they like the taste of blood. Similarly, we cannot just assume people who are normally not seen in daylight to be vampires. This may be because they have sensitive eyes and cannot stand strong light, so they normally go out at night. But all these “inhuman” behaviors are truly misleading, and may lead us to believe that vampires truly exist!

From all this, we can learn that human and inhuman are not really far apart, there is only a thin line separating them both. So we really should not be surprised if we found out one day that vampires really exist! For now, we shall let it remain as a MYSTERY…

Be it a fantasy, folklore or somebody’s imagination, let’s face it, besides the taunts that parents use during our childhood : “ wa kio mata lai lia ler ah !” ( hokkien : I ask police to come and catch you ah! ) that normally causes the terrified kid to shut up or the smarter kid would be yawning to the use of  kidology for the umpteenth time. The next most fearsome thing to strike kid’s hearts would be the vampire or more known to us as “ jiang shi”. I’m sure we all still remember vividly the hopping corpses with horriggible faces in Qing Dynasty costumes with the peacock feather sticking out from their head wear. And the “shi fu” with the sword “tao mu jian” and his bag of amulets and other gadgetry arriving to save the day with a few of his fumbling disciples. Well, you gotta say these are not as believable as those of English literature like Rice’s or Stoker’s. But, they’re definitely every bit as fascinating. Right, so the point is, don’t bother with arguing about their existence. Just be enthralled by these spookies as they are.
