WHY HDTV ?
 
High-Definition TV format is better than existing format(PAL,NTSC) because of its wider screen,higher resolution and high quality sound.
 
HDTV is presented in a wide screen format.It uses the 16:9 aspect ratio and the image lines 1080. Standart tv system has between 525(NTSC) and 625(PAL) image lines and the image format is 4:3 aspect ratio.HDTV’s aspect ratio makes for a more immersive and intense viewing experince.
 
Resolution is a measure of picture sharpness. HDTV systems have a resolution of around double that of standart tv systems. Standart tv uses 480 lines to draw picture. HDTV format uses 1080 lines to draw picture.This allows much more detail to be shown than standart tv. HDTV offers resolution that is at least twice that of standart television. You can expect razor sharp image from HDTV. You’ll see incredibly crisp detail, superior color and stunnig contrast.
 
High-Definition television’s digital audio signal sounds better than standart tv’s analog signal sound. HDTV format include Dolby Digital surround sound. Dolby Digital sound so you can enjoy movies.
