SMARTPHONES OR PDAs

People who usually uses computer, need some apparates which are useful for put in order to daily life, simple but, being used with useful programmers and identifying to writing which is written by hand [1]. This apparates are named by PDA. Opening out of PDA is Personal Digital Assistant [1]. The first PDA is Newton which is presented to markets by Apple in 1993 [1]. Then from this year using the PDA increases but, after sometime, carrying both model phone and PDA began to be a big problem for users. Some procedurers saw this and they put into model phones to Operating System and then smart phone is formed at this state, a question which is ‘Is smartphones better then PDA?’ , appeared at now. And then beginning to look for the solution. When these two apparates are examined, we can say that, ’Smartphones better than PDAs, because smartphones have camera, you can listen to music with it and they are cheaper.’

While trying to MMS, GPRS; Mobil phone with camera comes into existence [2]. You can take digital photos with these apparates, because smartphones have cameras [3]. To get four Mega Pixels and over image, is possible with new Intel processor, also D games and video playing are developed for smart phones [4].

You can connected to internet with smartphones and you can listen to music and watch small films with media player which is in smartphones [3]. You can load audio files in WAV, Midi and WMA formats [5]. You can load Midi file which you founded on the internet, as polyphonic melody to your phones separately [6].

Smartphones are distributed by operators of mobil phones in USA and in the east countries, so smartphones are gotten by suitable price easily than PDAs [3]. Prices of smartphones are between 200–500 $. For example M8X200 which is the first mobil phone, is 250$ approximately.

At now smartphones are used more than PDAs. Reasons this state is, ’smartphones can both take digital photos and we can connection to the internet with smartphones and we can call everybody with it’. But there is a problem. It is the photos which we take this photos with smartphone, has some poor quality.
