"good night, boys." Diana said outside their door. she opened it real quick and added, "dont forget."
"we know mom.' Zac replied and inwardly rolled his eyes. "we have a plane to catch at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning."
She smiled and shut the door carefully.
the three boys didn't utter a word for 10 minutes. When they finally heard snoring coming from the room right nextdoor, they all climbed out of bed, put on their shoes, and grabbed a back-pack sitting on the chairs.
isaac opened the window, and a cool breeze hit his face, welcomed no less.
His brothers quickly followed after him. Once all on the ground, they ran off towards the park. It was closed after dusk had fallen, but the three hanson's were willing to take the risk.
Off into a unmarked trail of the park, the followed it, until they heard a giggle. they instantly knew, they were home.
"ah... I were afraid you weren't going to make it." the girl, with long blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes said. "But you did. whatever took you so long?" she asked.
taylor laughed, and replied, 'we had to drug the family just to get out. they decided to stay up all night. even if we have a plane to catch." he shook his head. "I don't think they'll be to happy if they figure out what we did."
"yeah, you know how strict our parents are when it comes to religion." Zac added. he looked at his watch, and it read: 11:39pm. "we gotta be in by one." zac announced.
"Well then. i suppose we should get the show on the road." She said, and headed over to their bags.
Zac stood south, across from the girl that stood north. Isaac was at the east cardinal point, across from him, taylor standing at west.
with their legs braced apart, arms up in the air, the girl said,:
"hurry up!" isaac whispered, and climbed out on to the roof. being careful to walk in the oppisite direction of his parent's window, he went to the other side of the roof, and climbed down the fence that held up ivy, that grew on all sides of the house.
They showed themselves to the girl there, and set everything up.
isaac and taylor nodded agreebly.
they found four big stones and placed them in their cardinal directions. In the midded, was a blanket the girl had brought, with candles, insense, statues, and herbs on it. to the left side was a bowl of water, and a bell.
oppisite of that, was a bowl of salt, and a athame. in the middle was a pentacle with offerings to the Lord and Lady.
callings went around the circle, until taylor had finished his last line. together they called forth the Goddess and God to wittness their ritual.
Zac started a chant. Taylor picked up as it started over again for the second time. soon the girl had joined as well. followed by isaac.
each one named, something that they wish no longer hold them back.
"no more feeling useless." said the girl.
Together they all sang, danced, and had some home-made bread and apple juice.
zac looked at his watch. "we gotta go." he said. everyone abrubtly stopped, and went to their corners.
the circle closed, and the guys packed up their bags. after hugging the girl goodbye, they ran back to their house, and climbed up the ivy.
"uh oh." Zac muttered.
"Itz closed." their dad retorted.
taylor shrugged. 'it didn't stop us before."
"what does that mean?" walker asked him.
'simply we've snuck out before. thats what it means." taylor replied. He looked at his brothers and raised his eyebrows. 'no, i dont think we'll be hiding anymore...."
"no more hiding in others problems." Isaac said.
"no more being shy. it isn't my nature." Zac added.
after zac had put his last foot on the floor, the lights switched on, and they saw their parents.
