The Covenant gained ground here and there, thinking that the Humans would horde any un-explored territories that they could, leaving the Covenant bottled up in a tight position for Survival. Soon some people started to wander about their Governments, and why they wanted to completely "annihilate" the Covenant, to gain a complete control over every "Halo" planetform ring that exists. A small group of people set off on "A New Great Journey" towards a future of a non-political life style. These people wanted Rule, Power, Authority. This group of people broke the old Human code, "Thy shall not betray ones own kind". They gained an immense amount of technologies, amazing abilities, and Power.
There was an intercepted message received on one of the UNSC ships that was previously on a patrol around the 5th Halo Ring. Most of the message was static, But one such thing that came out clear was, an Operation to gain full control and Absolute Power & Rule over the Colonies. This operation was called "Distant Darkness". Later this message was identified to have come from the "group of people", which turned out to be a large Military like Force, Posing such Grave Danger and Hostility towards anything and anyone stepping in its path. This Military like Force, started raging its own war against Humanity, and Covenant. Little is really known about this New breed of "people". It is said to be known that these new "people" are not completely human. Their bodies have been altered in such ways that they have the ability to use such enormous technologies that man could never understand, not even the Covenant. The leader of this "Organization", is said to be an ex UNSC Colonel. He defected, and set out on his own, with the goals in mind of being the new "System Lord" of the Galaxy. He was condemned as a "traitor" who betrayed his own race, in order to become a Leader, a Lord... a maniac.
Anubis, is his name. He is the leader of "The Underworld" later found out to be "The Order". This evil empire seems to have one goal in mind. Take over Halo, and all of its threats. This operation is to be known as, "Distant Darkness".

"The Order" is an Online MultiPlayer Clan for Halo Combat Evolved. It is a clan created by me, (Anubis) for a different type of clan, with a different set of rules and gameplay, then most clans. We in No way indulge or support Racism, Terrorism, or Communism in anyway. In any event that any member is to be seen committing Racism, or terroristic threats, will be immediatly and permanently removed from this Clan. We have fun, enjoy the game, and are a good group of friends.
