It's worth going to the excursion to Kungur, the city which is situated about two hours away from Perm. At the beginning of the excursion you will learn a lot of interesting things about the Siberean road : how it was discovered, how it was used, etc. Then you will arrive in Kungur and visit the impressive Ice Cave . The cave is 5,6 km long but a safe road and electricity is not in the whole cave, so one can visit only 1,5 km. Its first halls has a lot of stalagtits and stalagmits and these grottos are magnificent!







On the mountain on the way to Kungur is situated a monastery. Its gold cupolas could be seen far away from the magnificent building. Once a member of the Tsar family Romanov was saved from being assassinated and to thank God for this life-saving, the cross was placed on the mountain. With years more and more people were going to kneel in front of it and pray. Then later there was founded a monastery. Now this place is visited by a lot of people.
