A Tribute in Honor of: America's Heroes
Heroes of 911
I was a federal agent during the World Trade Center Disaster.  It was my honor and priviledge to work with some of the most Heroic people I've ever met.  Not only were the people who came from all over the world Heroes, the survivors, and Victims were some of the bravest, and kindest, most wonderful people I've had the pleasure to meet, serve and know. That experience taught me to treasure LIFE in a whole new way. To find joy, happiness, and value in each day.  To find the good, the simple, but wonderful blessings in the littlest of things.  To look deeper inside myself.. T find the true meaning of life .. is to look into your own heart, and the hearts of fellow Americans,  who share our pride, our sorrow, our trials and our triumphs.  I must admit it was a difficult time for our Country, and her people.  The love, friendships, and unity that were sown, will live within me forever.
In Your Honor
We worked 13 days on, off 1, we were on sight for 14 to 16 hours a day.  We didn't think of it as work, or a job.. We were among Heroes .. and we knew it.. and we hoped we could live up to their belief and hope in us, and our efforts. It was the hardest, most rewarding thing I've ever done in my life.  I pray I never have to perform a job like that again.  I pray our country never knows another such dark hour, as we did during that day, and the years thathave followed.  It has been an hour of change for all Americans.  That day changed the way WE, and our children, and the generations of children to come, will live.  Growing up, we said the Lord's Prayer in school, we said the pledge, and we sang God Bless America.  Truly God did bless us that day, by minimizing the devastation that could have continued, had our country been under different leadership.  I met President Bush when he came to New York to THANK the workers, volunteers, and meet with the victims and their families.  I was honored, and will consider that the highpoint of my life.  Please keep America, her leaders, HEROES, and service men in your prayers.    We honor YOU, we will never forget you, or that day.  Thank You, to Heroes everywhere.  You know who you are.
