In 1992 my friend Viviane Mongeau said she had a female that just wasn't working out with her.  I said I would try her out.  The second Gommie got off the plane I knew she was going to stay for the rest of her life.  She was a wonderful companion and is still missed.  Her favorite hobby was sheep herding.  Unfortunately, I moved from the country in MD to suburbia in VA and sheep were no longer readily available.  But her trial record was impressive when I competed with her.  She won High in Trial every time she competed for her AKC HS.  She also won Combined High in Trial.  She easily earned her CD in AKC and CKC.  She did not care for the dumbbell and I chose not to push it.  I was quite happy just to have her around.  She also loved hunting rabbits.  All you had to say was where's the bunny and she would stand on her hind legs so she could see further.
