My Comments: These books are not a compelling read. They haven't won any awards or been critically acclaimed. I could sit down and read one of these in about an hour. But there's just something about the lives of teens and their problems that made a great subject for the writer who did a great job. when I'm reading these, I feel like like I'm in a different world. Simple as they are, it's almost like an escape. and it's always exciting to get into the details of relationships and stuff. And they're funny at times too. They're everything a school experience should be. I'd recommend these too girls 11 and up.

Sweet Valley: Jr. High Series by Francine Pasal
Summary: Each of the 30 books so far has a different summary and there's no way I'm going to write all of them down. Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield get a district rezone and have to switch schools for their 8th grade year. They go to a new school knowing no one, but easliy (and in Jessica's case, eventually) make friends, enimies, and get in to many situations just like normal teens. Each chapter in the books changes narrator every so often, so you nkow what different people are thinking.
