And i saw them a few times and they were very much like the Fall, but i'd never heard the fall at the time so didn't really realise. I just thought they were differnet. And importantly, they were really uninterested in sounding like anything else that was about at the time.
They released about three singles, some on guided missle, which were slightly dissapointing really (apart from the one about having your own seven inch patrick swayze that lives under the bed) , they had one on Stupid Cat, which was better.
The main thing about them though is that i only saw them a few times but i can still remember a few of the songs and would really want to hear them again, and i know for a fact that they recorded an album of sorts before the singer Keith Farquhar, apparently walked off and the rest of them went on to become the country teasers full time.
