Story:
A man Ren Niang lives in Thailand with his mother and friends his best friends is the cute girl Zhou Xiao Dan but then Sai Wei and Sai Woo from Singapore come to Thailand they are two brothers who knows a lot about the jewellery industry they met each other and Ren Niang also save their lives.
After that the uncle of them came and he recognise Ren Niang's mother she was the second wife of his brother and she also had a golden rock (well not real gold) she always slept on it, that was the only present Ren Niang's dad gave to her and that was also Sai Wei's and Sai Woo's dad.
Ren Niang goes to Singapore to look for his father he found him and also his family so Sai Wei a guy who only can walk with one leg sorry don't know how to put it in other words. Sai Woo a good guy the sister of them a very good woman, the husband of her a bit wicked.
The first wife of Ren Niang's dad a very wicked woman and the wife of Sai Woo a poor girl but very nice and the daughter of the sis of Sai Wei she was pregnant by her uncle Sai Woo.
His wife don't like that ofcourse and she runs away, the whole family doesn't like Ren Niang many prblems come and go in this serie.
Ming Zhu is the daughter of Ren Niang's uncle the brother of his father well not legal brother just very good friends she is a very friendly girl she became Ren Niang's girlfriend.
And then Xiao Dan and Ren Niang's mother came to Singapore at the end Ren Niang have to choose between Xiao Dan and Ming Zhu.
Sai Wei wanted to knock down Ren Niang but Ming Zhu saved him and now she was in a wheelchair for him.
Still many problems coming and getting off, many people die or get in prison.
At the end Ming Zhu and Ren Niang went to Paris to look for Xiao Dan they found here and they listened to the Golden Pillow.
The next scene we see Ren Niang and Ming Zhu and man came out from the restaurant he asked in French 'How many seats?' and then Xiao Dan came out and Ren Niang said smiling 'Three thank you'.
And they walked to the restaurant, ahhh a happy end!
Best performance:
Definetely Xie Shaoguang as Sai Wei he acted crippled he only could walk with one leg that was so good it looked just real. He won the price for best supporting actor for this role and I know why, he did a terrific job on this role.
Worst performance:
The daughter of Sai Wei's sis she couldn't act at all so boring at the end of the serie she did improved a bit.
Best scene:
The last scene when they walked to the restaurant that was quite surprising and good.
Worst scene:
When they talk too much.
Themesongs:
Three songs one sung by Alex Man a good song one by Alex Man and Zoe Tay also quite good and one by Alex Man and Fann Wong also quite good.
Everything together:
Well i don't like the story of this serie but it was a terrific serie the cast was so unbelievable good but the story was still a bit boring, if you like Singapore series you should watch it.
